Catalyst Special Issue: Science Out of Feminist Theory

Editors: Banu Subramaniam and Angela Willey

Theme: Science Out of Feminist Theory

Vol 3, No 1/2 (2017)

Service: Editing

In this special double issue of Catalyst, the authors all rethink and rework ideas, theories, and frameworks that we already consider scientific—be it riverine sciences, veterinary sciences, ecological sciences, environmental sciences, health sciences, medicine, robotics, ecology, climatology, psychiatry, invasion biology, or marine biology.

In rethinking and reworking these fields, the authors begin with ideas, theories, and frameworks from feminist theories.

"Previously, the managing editor and editorial board members of Catalyst copyedited the manuscripts in our journal. It was time-consuming and we were very excited to work with Ideas on Fire, which was recommended by a board member. Working with the group was straightforward and hassle-free. We are extremely happy with the results of our joint effort and look forward to working with Ideas on Fire on future issues."
