The Ideas on Fire Publishing Series Is Back for Fall 2026!

by Cathy Hannabach | Aug 15, 2026

The Ideas on Fire Publishing Series returns this fall with three free events exploring how scholarly publishing works—and how authors, editors, and publishing professionals can navigate it more thoughtfully.

Each event brings scholars into conversation with acquisition editors, journal editors, developmental editors, and other publishing professionals to make the processes behind interdisciplinary scholarly publishing more transparent and accessible.

All events are free, online, captioned, and recorded (recordings will be sent to all registrants afterward).
