Alyssa Wejebe (she/her) is a copyeditor at Ideas on Fire, where she helps scholars clarify and polish their interdisciplinary writing for their readers.
Alyssa runs her own freelance editing business focused on sharing writing in arts, entertainment, and culture with a wider audience. She has collaborated with independent creators and larger teams to refine and launch their projects in literature, journalism, tabletop gaming, and other areas.
She studied with the Tessera Editorial Mentorship Program. Alyssa is also a columnist for a digital magazine on cultural criticism and she proofreads content about international travel for a cruise line.
Her favorite book is Watership Down and she enjoys listening to video game soundtracks.
