How to listen to podcasts
Stream from the show’s website
- Go to the website of the podcast you’re seeking, for example, ideasonfire.net/imagine-otherwise-podcast.
- Click the play button on the episode you want to hear.
- Most podcast websites also have show notes and transcripts you can read.
Listen through an app
- On your phone or tablet, find a podcast app. Apple Podcasts comes installed on Mac devices and Google Play comes installed on most Android devices. You can also download other podcast apps like Spotify or RadioPublic.
- Search for the show and select it from the search results. This will open the show’s page in the app you’re using.
- Hit play and/or follow. You can listen to a single episode by clicking the play button or follow the show to get new episodes sent to your device when they’re released.
Stream from YouTube
- Go to YouTube and search for the show you are interested in.
- Click the play button on the episode you want to hear.
- Follow the show’s channel to get notified about new episodes within the YouTube app or site.
**Note: Not all podcasts publish their episodes to YouTube.**
